“The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all.”
President John F. Kennedy said this and it's true. If you don't know what your local government and entities are doing, you can't speak up and voice your concerns and opinions.

This new segment will list a few of our community meetings. Some are during the day, but some have remote options like zoom.
I am listing just a few to get us started. If I'm missing something you want to know about, please reach out to me.
Bent County Commissioners--Thursday, August 7th at 9am in the basement of the Bent County Courthouse. See the agenda at https://www.bentcounty.net/calendar.php

Otero County Commissioners-- Monday, August 11th, 1:30 PM in the meeting room at the Otero County Courthouse, first floor next to the Health Department. Zoom option available if you reach out to them

City of Lamar, City Council meeting-- Monday, August 11th, 7pm
