Otero Law Academy put recruits through scenarios this weekend. Director Vince Fraker says about 90 percent of what law enforcement does on the streets is communicate with the public so these drills were designed to get them to do just that. Local law enforcement agencies pitched in along with community volunteer actors to make it feel real. There are more opportunities to help out with scenarios in the next couple of weeks.
