(La Junta, CO) -- Wednesday it's Leroy Osborne's turn to go to court for a pre-trial readiness conference for first-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder charges.
The case involved six others.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation was involved after an extensive investigation into the incident believed to have happened in a Rocky Ford apartment in August of 2017.
After that investigation in July of 2021, seven (7) people were arrested in connection with the alleged kidnapping, torture and attempted murder of a Rocky Ford woman. The complete list of the arrested is:

A jury trial is scheduled on the docket for August for Osborne. A pre-trial readiness conference is a meeting with both the prosecution and the defense to see if all sides are ready for the jury trial. No word yet on what jury selection will look like.
