(La Junta, CO) -- One of the seven suspects in the kidnapping and torture of a woman in Rocky Ford in 2017 will be in court Wednesday for a motions hearing. Hipolito Isaac Sanchez is scheduled for his hearing at 3pm.
According to the arrest affidavit, the victim stated that she was waterboarded, burned with a curling iron, placed into a hot shower and then put into the trunk of a vehicle. She was able to escape the car but was hit by another passing car and made it to a near-by house to call 911.
The arrest documents also state there were kids in the home at the time of the incident and some of the suspects may have been on drugs, meth.
The whole list of suspects, who face charges of first-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder includes:
