It's Dove Season, There are a Couple of Things to Know

Hunters are happy to be out there in Southeast Colorado as it's dove season. Officially, kicking off September 1 the season runs until November 29th, according to the Colorado Parks, and Wildlife.
Other things to know:
You may:
Have 15 mourning or white-winged doves per day
Have in your possession three times the daily limit mentioned above.
Both mourning doves and white-winged doves are included in the season.
There's a year-round season on Eurasian Collared Doves.

You will need a hunting license, more information is available here.
Be cautious of shooting doves while they're perched on power lines and fiber lines. You might take down the electricity and internet if you hit one.
