Colorado’s rural entrepreneurs are creating some of the most exciting business opportunities across the state. The Small Business Summit connects entrepreneurs from across the Eastern Plains through a full day of educational breakout sessions and strategic networking. Designed to support businesses at every stage, the event fosters collaboration, growth, and strong regional partnerships.
The Summit takes place in Fort Morgan at the Fort Morgan Field House on April 22nd OR on April 23rd in Lamar at Lamar Community College - Two days, one great event! The event will take place from 9:00am - 4:00pm each day.

About the SBDC:
The Colorado Small Business Development Center (SBDC) serving East CO, serves the 20 counties of Eastern CO (everything east of the I-25 corridor). Our center is currently hosted by the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) and we have a full time office in Lamar at the Lamar Community College, as well as several satellite offices.
We offer completely free, one-on-one business advising services and free and low-cost trainings and events to small businesses throughout Eastern Colorado. We work with everyone that meets SBA’s definition of small businesses, including solo entrepreneurs, gig workers, mom-and-pop businesses, co-ops, tech developers, agriculture producers, small manufacturers, and anyone else with less than 500 employees.
