(The following is a news release from the Colorado State Patrol)
The Colorado State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run serious injury crash that occurred at the intersection of Colorado 50 and Otero County Road 21 on May 7, 2023, at approximately 01:59 AM. A Dodge Ram that was traveling northbound on CR 21 failed to stop at the intersection. The Dodge Ram impacted an eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Suburban causing the vehicle to overturn. The passenger of the Chevrolet sustained serious injuries from the crash. We are currently looking for a 1994-2001 Dodge Ram pickup. The vehicle is believed to be a metallic green color and the front bumper will be damaged. The black plastic along the top and bottom of the chrome bumper will be missing. The front grill will be missing and the vehicle may have damaged headlights as well.
