(Las Animas, CO) -- To clear up some confusion, when someone is booked into the jail the charges listed can change.
There's a note at the top of the inmate information page on the Bent County Sheriff's jail info page that states the following:

Social media has been abuzz with confusion because of shared screenshots from the first set of charges, which were later adjusted. As you just read above, this happens.
You can always look up the charges for yourself on this site using the numbers.
It's actually a good site to bookmark. You never know when you'll need to educate yourself on the law.
