(Southeast Colorado) -- Many of the counties in our Southeast region of the state are getting a little break from the high winds today, but it's still very dry. According to guidance from the National weather service out of Pueblo, the office that tracks our weather in the SE corner of the state, Baca, Prowers, Bent, and Kiowa are not in the warning area for TODAY. However, this week will bring some very windy days.
Be careful of all of your outdoor activities. It's advised to clean around your house as the winds this week likely blew some new brush and tumbleweeds your way.
