Two Voices. One Mission: Protecting Colorado’s Future

(Las Animas, CO) -- Two strong Colorado women will come together as speakers and entertainers at the Bent County Patriot Lincoln Day Dinner, planned for September 12th.

Southeast Colorado's own, Clare Dunn, a country music recording artist, will not only perform that night but also will speak. Dunn has been a passionate voice for rural Colorado and rural America to protect the American Farmer and Rancher. Her platform on social media has gained a large following as she often speaks from the heart, usually donning her casual farm girl clothes. She eloquently outlines some of the dangers coming that would challenge private property rights among other topics. Dunn will also perform earlier in the day in Lamar at the area's 911 Tribute.

Also taking the podium to inform guests, the Bent County Republican party is proud to welcome Erin Lee. Lee is a mom and the executive director of Protect Kids Colorado. She stepped up to be an advocate after her daughter was recruited into a gender and sexuality club with parents' knowing about it. She's rolled up her sleeves to pursue legal action against the school district and even testified on legislation as well as leading efforts for a ballot initiative concerning parents' rights. Those efforts led to three ballot questions you will see in November that protect Colorado children.

Other speakers lined up are 4th District Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, District 47 State Representative Ty Winter, Republican National Chairwoman Christy Fidura, Attorney General Candidate Michael Allen, State Treasurer Candidate Kevin Grantham, and GOP State Chair Craig Steiner.

Tickets are $40 per person with the option to purchase a table. There will be a dessert auction and the dinner will be curated by Las Animas resident Steve Bourne.

The doors open at 4pm at the Las Animas High School with the dinner starting at 5pm.
