Two Nominated to Replace Vigil as Bent County Court Judge

The following is a news release from the Colorado Courts



The Sixteenth Judicial District Nominating Commission has nominated two candidates for a Bent County Court judgeship created by the appointment to the District Court of the Hon. Samuel S. Vigil. The vacancy occurred on July 2, 2022. Nominees Jeremy P. Boyce of Greeley and Lance P. Clark of Wiley were selected in a meeting on July 14, 2022.

Under the Colorado Constitution, the governor has 15 days from July 15, 2022, within which to appoint one of the nominees as county court judge for Bent County.
