(La Junta, CO) -- Otero County will be partnering with Rocky Ford in an agreement to allow Rocky Ford to provide dispatch services for Otero County.
County Administrator Amy White Tanabe says a bid from Rocky Ford came in the lowest. Tanabe says the first year there won't be a large cost savings. It will cost about $100,000 a year to have Rocky Ford complete the service. She adds there will be labor savings costs however.
Tanabe said Monday's action for commissioners was to ratify the agreement between the county and the city.
