Investigators are working on a complex case of attempted arson and burglary. More below in a news release from the Otero County Sheriff's office.
(Manzanola, CO) -- December 1, 2021 – On November 30, 2021 just before 07:00 AM, Deputies from the Otero County Sheriff’s Office were Dispatched to the Town Hall in Manzanola, located at 301 North Park Street on a report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival, It was determined a burglary and attempted arson had occurred at the location, which includes the Town Hall and Manzanola Police Department. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Colorado Division of Fire Protection and Control were called in to assist in the investigation, which remains active at this time.
