If it seems like you've been following a particular bill and it's been kicked down the road without a passage or a loss, you're not mistaken. There are many yet to tackle.
With less than a week to go until the end of the Colorado Legislative session many bills sit on an agenda for discussion and action.
Saturday's session included a schedule of 37 bills for a third and final reading and four set for a second reading.

When we tuned in to watch there were multiple recesses taken along with a motion by Majority Leader Monica Duran to move the remainder of the calendar for third readings to Monday, May 11th.
Before that motion was made, Senate Bill 26-135 passed. According to the bill's fiscal note,
The bill refers a measure to voters at the November 2026 election that, if approved, allows the state to retain revenue collected above the Referendum C cap, up to a newly established limit. Revenue retained under the measure must first be used to fund reimbursements for the homestead property tax exemption, and K-12 education. Any additional revenue remaining after required spending may be spent or saved as determined by the General Assembly.
The bill would retain a portion of Colorado citizens' TABOR refunds. You can read more, here.
