Pound Sand Pay-Your-Toll Scammers

You're not alone if you recently received a text warning you of your un-paid toll, to pay it now, or else.
Insert eyeroll here please.

As a resident of Southeast Colorado, I don't drive on toll roads, there are NONE down here so I looked into the text I received warning me to pay it now.
According to the Federal Trade Commission, it's a popular text scam at the current moment.
Check it out here if you want to see for yourself.
But basically, it says, if you receive a text, with urgency and warnings to click here now and pay for forever be in trouble. You aren't.

And yes, that's the legit website, we researched it.
To finish out this thought, I don't take toll roads anywhere I travel, why pay for the road twice? My dad always encouraged me to take the back roads and not get in a hurry to get to where I'm going. After, all, you should enjoy the journey, right?
