Lamar Mayor Announces There's An App Coming

(Lamar, CO) -- It was a fairly calm and quiet city council meeting in Lamar Monday night. There was no public comment and participation, reports were given on an update for the sidewalk grant that would make sidewalks ADA compliant and the Mayor says an App for the city of Lamar is coming.

Mayor Kirk Crespin announced it's coming. "We do have the city app that will be coming up here pretty soon." There are five different partners on the app, Lamar Community College, Lamar Light and Power, Lamar Chamber of Commerce, Prowers Economic Prosperity and Prowers Medical Center. Crespin says the Beta testing software will go out over the next week.

City council meetings can be attended in person or the public has the option to watch on the City of Lamar's Facebook page. Any questions asked will be answered during the meeting, according to the Mayor. The council's agenda and minutes are posted on the city site at https://www.ci.lamar.co.us/
