Election Day Eve, We Are Almost Finished

On the Eve of election day, are you thrilled the political ads and texts will soon stop?

We are almost to the finish line for the midterms and there are a few things to note.

The Colorado Secretary of State reports that Duane L Gurule, Democratic candidate for State Senate District 35, submitted paperwork to withdraw from the General Election. Mr. Gurule’s name will not be displayed on the Election Night Reporting site. Gurule is the former mayor of Rocky Ford and had thrown his name in the ring to run for SD 35, which represents Southeast Colorado, however he is not in that race.

On election night, you can follow along with the results by going to the Colorado Secretary of State's website and entering in your county, or just follow us here. We are interested and you can bet we will be watching.

And if you haven't turned in your ballot, you have until 7pm election day, Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026 to drop it at the courthouse in the drop box provided. Late ballots will not be counted.
